Word Life Son recently teamed up with the Super Soul Shakedown folks in San Antonio to bring Qwel, Maker & DJ SPS through town

Los three amigos are currently on the road in support of the new Qwel & Maker “OWL” album & stopped by to chat with WLS’ own Scuba210 on Super Soul Saturday radio. Check out the interview footage below:

WLS presents Qwel & Maker’s “OWL” tour stop in San Antonio, TX on 9/18/10

Since 2002, Qwel & his Galapagos4 familia have routed their annual tour for a stop in San Antonio, which always proves to be 1 of the livest cities on their route. This time around they are promoting the release of Qwel & Maker’s latest album, OWL, which drops on 9/14 on Galapagos4 Records

This year is no exception & they have brought very special guests in the form of Maker & DJ SPS (second place sucks) to rock along with them.

Also, Truth Universal from New Orleans will be rockin his Grassroots Campaign styles & local support includes Krash Savage & Hacksaw Slim Doogin (pur3lyroot3d crew) + OBX & DJ Tech-neek.

NEW YORK – Wearing saggy pants is not a crime, just foolish.

That’s how a New York City judge ruled in throwing out a summons issued to a man wearing low-slung pants that exposed his underwear.

Judge Ruben Franco said that the summons appeared to be an attempt by one police officer to show his displeasure with the style.

The Bronx man, Julio Martinez, was issued the ticket on April 20.

The judge writes that many may find the low-slung trouser trend distasteful and foolish. But he says people can dress how they want as long as they do not offend public order and decency.

Franco’s decision was issued last month. Martinez and his Legal Aid attorney could not be reached for comment.
